After years in international business and consulting and the constant airport arrivals that come with it, one pattern became impossible to ignore: the first 60 minutes of a trip define everything that follows.
The Turkish Riviera has some of the finest 5-star resorts and coastline in the Mediterranean. But step off a flight at Antalya, and the experience often falls apart immediately, taxi chaos, aggressive hawkers, haggling over fares in 35°C heat, or a shared shuttle stopping at nine other hotels before yours.
There was an obvious disconnect between the luxury people book in Belek or Bodrum, and how they actually arrive there.
